Ona 1991

Ona 1991 is a lineal coat rack made out of wood whose design results from a formal juxtaposition of waves and a sloping plane. Its almost sculptural ornamental value, professional renown and commercial success have afforded it emblematic status in the history of Spanish design.

Ona 1991 coat rack, Internationally renowned, has won the ADI-FAD Delta Gold 1992 and the Gran Prix de la Critique du Meuble Contemporary 1999, and forms part of the Permanent Collection at Barcelona’s Design Museum as well as the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
