In this document there is information considered relevant from the standpoint of environmental and health and human toxicity.

The main purpose of this self-report and display is just to argue that this product is environmentally preferable to other similar product’s functionality on the market. 

1. Within the range of Riga supplements, bin version exists for the classification of household waste and facilities.

2. Riga supplements are made mostly of stainless steel, a fact that makes these products mainly single-material products (except the ashtray which also contains part of anodized extruded aluminum, the same material as the tops of the bins for classification), reducing greatly the separation by type of material at the end of its useful life as waste for disposal or recovery.

3. Both stainless steel and aluminum are 100% recyclable.

4. The finish is polished and satin stainless steel, so it does not present any type of finish or chemical added.

5. Only the iron handle with electrolytic alkaline zinc finish and aluminum bin caps with epoxy paint surface finish, have chemicals added.

6. The rest of the pieces that make these supplements (ABS plastic parts) do not present any type of finish or chemical added.

7. All products range of Riga supplements comply with Directive 2002/95/EC (does not contain heavy metals such antimony, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium present in surface treatments, paints, adhesives, paints ...) .

8. There is no source of formaldehyde emissions.

9. There is no source of VOC emissions.

10. Comply with the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and the Council of 18 December 2006 and that does not contain any hazardous substances contained therein.

11. The supplier of stainless steel transformation has Municipal Environmental License REG. 004330, Law 3/1998 concerning the waste it generates.

12. Part of the waste generated from the production of these products are removed by a management company and waste recovery unit certified (ISO 14001).
