The firm

Mobles 114 Barcelona is the trademark that has always been the foundation for the company's culture and products. Identified physically and culturally with the city of Barcelona, the cradle of design in southern Europe, the firm started in 1973 with JM Massana and JM Tremoleda, industrial designers, producers and directors of the company, who have kept alive an ideology associated with the business values and, at the same time, humanistic values of design.

In 2001, Mobles 114 has been awarded by the National Design Award 2001 for “its perseverance and coherence demonstrated over the years, reflected in the quality of its products, for being a model of business strategy  in the conception and use of design, taking an active part in the culture of habitat.”. 

In 2001, Mobles 114 Barcelona has been awarded with the Prize 2001 to the Quality of Design by the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.

The design of its products, are protected by national and international Laws and Treates concerning intellectual and Industrial Copyright. Any use, production, distribution, explotation or public communication of these products that has not been specifically authorised in writing by Mobles 114, might constitute a violation of these regulations an is therefore a punishable offence. The production, distribution or marketing of any copy or version of the property of the protected product or brand is legally incompatible with that of the originals and Mobles 14 will consequiently take action against any producers or ditstributions that break the law.

Mobles 114 as an editor, defends  the perseverance of the product value in its  originality, quality, consumer demand and commercial competitiveness. I ho fa amb una col·lecció diversa i completa de tipologies complementàries que abasta els seients, les taules, les prestatgeries i els complements. For this reason, the company works in a responsible way in the edition and design of their products as well as in the subcontracted production process. 

Mobles 114 ensure that all its products, materials, industrial process and raw materials meet all the standards of environmental criteria.

Mobles 114 design and produce the products putting the following values at first: monomaterial, recyclable raw materials, easy disassembling for different components and recycling  process. 

An  important value consist of the quality and long life of the products which favorise a responsable use.
